Full Description
{1} To the south of the scanned area are broad, curvilinear anomalies that have some archaeological potential, although they may be natural. The major anomalies further north are almost certainly natural, probably the product of a paleochannel or magnetic gravel.
{2} A broad zone of large, amorphous positive anomalies extending across the centre of the survey area probably represents a set of channel deposits within the underlying terrace gravels. The similar anomalies to the south, which were identified as having archaeological potential in 1996, are also likely to be of geological origin.
