Full Description
{1} Site 17. Nineteen individual small settlements were discovered on glacial gravel and close to the River Avon.
Analysis of the flint assemblages revealed a mixed period of occupation ranging from the early Neolithic to the early Bronze Age. Summary of finds assemblage on p.58.
{2} Mixed period prehistoric site; flint scatter (19 pieces in total) comprising 1 thumb scraper, 4 blade cores, 3 rough cores, 3 waste flakes and 8 utilised flakes.
