Fieldwalking survey undertaken in 1980 identified a Neolithic-Bronze Age flint scatter.

Full Description
{1} Site 19. Nineteen individual small settlements were discovered on glacial gravel and close to the River Avon.
Analysis of the flint assemblages revealed a mixed period of occupation ranging from the early Neolithic to the early Bronze Age. A patch of burnt stone was identified just to the east. Summary of finds assemblage on p.58.
{2} Fieldwalking survey identified a Neolithic- Bronze Age flint scatter totalling 36 pieces. The only piece found in archive is a scraper which is possibly part of a polished axe.
