Full Description

{1} Most of the former arrangement shown on the estate map of 1788, notable of avenues, was later destroyed or disguised. The tree-lines avenue to the north east was part of the early system and has a raised causeway in the centre. Another causeway survives as a low earthwork 100m west, flanked by very slight ditches. It seems to run in the missle of a wide avenue of 1778. A levelled and terraced linear area lies 460m further west and probably represents another causeway.
