Full Description

{1} Metal detecting rally produced a selection of medieval to modern finds. A lot of musket balls were recovered along with a very worn, early sixteenth century half-real of Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. The finder hypothesises that since the lead shot associated with this find was unfired, it was perhaps a location where troops were sited before the battle of Naseby.
