Full Description

{1} In Eastfield Road, Duston stand blocks of terraced former Council housing with what look just like blast walls protecting the passages providing access to the rear. Presumably other housing from this period in the town could have similar features.

{3} This type of shelter is described as ‘protected passageways’ which provided 468 shelter places in the area.
