Full Description

{1} Trial trench excavation identified a single ditch to the north of an Iron Age enclosure. The ditch, up to 1m deep in the bedrock, had been re-cut on at least three occasions. The only dating evidence was a single sherd of Iron Age pottery in a hard and gritty fabric.
