Full Description

{1} Geophysical survey was undertaken in 2008. In the south-west part of the survey area was a series of archaeological anomalies which appear to be a field enclosure which extends to the north. Two curvilinear anomalies of possible archaeological interest have been identified, which appear to represent separate parts of the same feature. It is possible that these could correspond to a curvilinear boundary or ditches either side of a track-way leading to the enclosure. Two regions of increased magnetic response are also identified which could be the result of near-surface superficial geology, or perhaps spreads of weakly magnetic debris.
