Full Description
{1} Circle of nine trees, all deciduous, a mixture of ash, beech and horse chestnut. Shown on an RAF air phot from 1947 but not on the OS map of 1926. Also no documentary evidence. The reason for the planting is not known. The trees were probably planted between 1926 and 1947. The trees do not fossilise any earlier feature in the landscape.
