Full Description

{1} Shows linear pattern of quarrying up to the early C19th on either side of the Stamford Road at Collyweston and Easton on The Hill. At Easton the 'seam' runs on the south side of the road, continuing north-eastwards towards Wothorpe and running to the south of Wothorpe Grove.

{2} Quarries at TF020044. Remains of workings for the well-known Collyweston Slate, the deposits of which extend into Easton.
