Find Spot record 3849/1 - Possible Romano-British settlement, south of Park Farm Way

RB coarse wares, roof tiles.

{1} Fieldwalking in 1975 recovered Romano-British pot sherds, roof tiles and stones.

{2} Roman tiles and pottery including Samian and colour coated wares, associated with an area of stones.

{4} Romano-British coarse wares, stone scatter, and clay roof tiles found by fieldwalking, April 1966.

{7} Mr Harper indicated that the finds came from an area centred to SP 87036663. The pottery and tiles are in his possession. No surface finds made during investigation.
