Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking; medieval pot sherds of C13th-C14th including green glazed fabric and iron slag.

{2} Iron working site (?) (SP 90778675), S.W. of the village, on Northampton Sand at 78m above OD. An extensive area of iron slag is associated with pottery of the 13th and 14th centuries.
