1086 Domesday survey records at Hargindone one mill rendering 8s. And a Hargedone another mill rendering 8s
1339 Mill, along with other land and property, in Great and Little Harrowden were granted to Sir John de Harrowden, parson of Stoke Bruerne
1722 Finedon Overseers of the Poor collected rates from Harrowden Mill
1762 Samuel Garrat, miller and grocer at Great Harrowden
1847-74 Burr family were millers at Harrowden Hall
1881 Last reference to a miller at Harrowden
