Full Description

{1} The water courses have been diverted and the head/tail race is almost dry but the route is still traceable.

{2}{3} The two features mapped by NMP are probably the earthwork dams retaining the elongated mill pond, as drawn on the first edition OS maps.

{4} By 1964 the water courses had been diverted, both head and tail races were almost dry and the former mill pond had virtually disappeared.
