Full Description
{1} A weak positive linear magnetic anomaly was detected, possibly indicating a buried ditch.
{2} A ditch, seen clearly in trench 1 but more ephemeral in trench 2. It was aligned north east to south west and was up to 2.3m wide and 0.6m deep. Generally, it had a bowl-shaped profile with a slightly rounded base and gradual sloping sides.
