Full Description
{1} Former Congregational chapel in Chapel Lane converted from an extant building in 1793, originally of stone walls with a thatched roof. Enlarged in 1820 and greatly altered in 1884 when the older part was entirely refenestrated and the thatch replaced by slate.
{3} Chapel use ceased in c1960. The original building may have had an entrance on the west side replaced in 1884 by the present entrance in the gabled south end. An early 19th-century vestry projects at the north end of the west wall and a rendered wing on the east side may represent the work of 1820. The interior has been entirely refitted.
