Summary

Wesleyan Methodist chapel in the High Street, built in 1811 and extended to the front in 1840.The earlier front had a broad front, gabled sides and two large segmental-arched windows in the back wall. The present front has a wide gable with a gabled porch. Identified by South Northamptonshire Council as being a building of historic and/or architectural significance.

Full Description

{1} Wesleyan Methodist chapel in the High Street, built in 1811 and extended to the front in 1840.The earlier front had a broad front, gabled sides and two large segmental-arched windows in the back wall. The present front has a wide gable with a gabled porch. The original date-stone of 181 is re-set in the front wall. The interior, re-pewed in the late 19th century, has a gallery of c1840 at the front. Monument: in chapel, to George Newman Robinson, 1859.
