Iron Age pits and ditches were recorded during housing development, as well as a few Anglo-Saxon features including a small iron-working shaft furnace.

Full Description

{1} Iron Age pits and ditches were recorded during housing development. Also observed were a few features of Anglo-Saxon date. The remains of a small iron-working shaft furnace, dating to the Anglo-Saxon period, is of particular interest.
