Full Description
{1} T.C. Welsh describes traces of a ditch on residual ground between shallow quarry depressions. The ditch is about 100m from the fort, following the same arc. Also surviving are two small boundary ditches twenty metres apart, running north west to south east. The boundary ditch can be seen as far as SP738581.
{2} T.C. Welsh speculates that he has found traces of the ditch on the surface about 100metres south & southwest of the fort & he believes that this area wasn't quarried as other people believe.
