{1} Finds of skeletons with scabbards & shield bosses; found outside the west entrance of Hunsbury Hillfort.
{3} Baker suggests that skeletons, accompanied by scabbards and shield bosses were found just outside the west entrance though Dryden, while including these discoveries in his report, does not mention any location or association of these objects.
