Full Description

{1} Geophysical survey of the site was undertaken and several large subtle arc and circular features were observed in the centre of the survey area and are c30m in diameter. Possibly enclosures; some of the features are not completely closed and this may represent an entrance.

{2} Trial trenching of the site in 2012 found no evidence of these features, which must be attributed to changes in the natural geology

{3} Further trial trenching to the south-west found a single ditch which appeared to correspond to the geophysical survey anomalies, although this is likely to be coincidental.
