Full Description
{1} First edition mapping of earthworks shows an arm extending from the Grand Junction Canal as far as the brick kilns.
{2} By the mid C20th the arm is still waterfilled and possibly still in use.
{3} Surviving features include the silted-up arm of the adjacent Grand Union Canal which was used for importing/exporting materials from the site. This feature may have high potential for waterlogged remains, including possibly former canal craft.
