Full Description
{1} A circular pit approx 4.4m in diameter and 0.4m in depth with gradually sloping sides and a slightly concave base. It contained 12-14th century pottery sherds and evidence of charred wood fragments, weed and cereal grains suggesting refuse and/or hearth waste. Scanning of spoil produced further medieval pottery sherds.
