Trial trench excavation identified a buried soil from which a small amount of medieval pottery was recovered. No other archaeological features were identified.

Full Description
{1}Overlying the natural substrate was layer [102]. This comprised a dark yellowish-brown silty-clay with a greyish tinge with occasional limestone fragment. This layer was recorded at 0.20m thick at the north-east end increasing to 0.30m thick at the south-west end. No features were observed cut into the surface of this layer, but it did produce about a dozen sherds of medieval pottery.
