Building record 1168/0/56 - No. 15 Leckhamstead Road

Two-storey building with three bays of stone and a further extension of red brick, all under a slate roof. A central two-bay portion is the original build of possible late 17th or 18th century date

{1} Identified by South Northamptonshire Council as being a building of historic and/or architectural significance.

{2} Analysis, plan and photographs. A two-bay building, successively raised, refitted and extended. The outline of the building was here before 1700 but its status remains uncertain. It may have been for agricultural use, or as a dwelling. The earliest indicators are for a single storey structure of two bays, built upon the bank, set right on the edge of the road, entered from the field.
