Summary

Salvage excavation during road construction in 1992 identified a total of 20 cremations probably dating to the mid-late Bronze Age. Possibly contemporary features included two gullies.

Full Description

{1} Bones and associated ash of twenty middle to late Bronze Age cremations, all of which were fully excavated. The pottery included the lower half of an urn in-situ. Ten other possible cremations were identified as well as seven parallel ditches and gullies, and three small pit-like features.
