Full Description

{1} Within the excavated area were the remains of four furrows aligned east to west and continuing beyond the limit of excavation. The furrows were evenly spaced at approx 7m apart and varied in width from approx 0.6m to 1.8m. The most southerly furrow was sectioned to establish the depth, which was 0.13m. These furrows may relate to the medieval open field system.
