Full Description

{1} Identified by South Northamptonshire Council as being a building of historic and/or architectural significance.

{2} The Independent Chapel at Church End, measuring 35ft by 18ft was built in 1826. By the mid 19th century, the congregation had increased to point that it was found necessary to add side-galleries to the existing front gallery. A Sunday School formed in 1842. A burial ground was opened in 1843, in which there were more than 50 interments over the next decade. The church was restored in 1872, and the burial ground was extended two years later.
