Full Description

{1}No indications of desertion noted so probably only small hamlet rather than deserted village;

{3} Thorpe Underwood in Harrington SP 787811 was taxed with Harrington. In 1492, 24 persons were expelled from "the mansion place", which may not indicate a village. Nothing visible on RAF AP's.

{4} The fields in the indicated area are, or have been arable. Nothing indicative of desertion was seen.
