Full Description

{1} The strength and mapped extent of the main concentration of archaeological anomalies suggests an area of limited burning. The responses do not fit in with the responses generally associated with iron making/ working so it is suggested that they may be associated with charcoal burning.
Apparently surrounding the area is a possible enclosure. However it is difficult to define aas there is a more prominent series of trends believed to be ridge and furrow cultivation.
