Cropmarks of a ring ditch identified on aerial photographs. A further small enclosure identified to the east during the Northamptonshire NMP was not subsequently identified during the North Buckinghamshire AIM project.

Full Description
{2, 3} Ring ditch approximately 850m north east of Mountmill Far, Wicken, Northamptonshire
A ring ditch of probable Bronze Age date is visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and was mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located approximately 850m north east of Mountmill Farm, Wicken, Northamptonshire, and centred at SP 77109 38144. A ring ditch of 21m in diameter with an internal ring ditch of 15m in diameter and a macula, approximately 1.75m across, at the centre is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It is sited on the west side of the River Great Ouse on an area of River Terrace Deposits of sands and gravels approximately 270m west of the river course.
