Full Description

{1} At SP97677243 a limestone wall footing was revealed within a pipe trench. Pits and ditches extended for some way up to SP97757254. Sherds recovered were from the C12th to the early C14th. Possibly the site of West Cotton or Wylwencotes, hitherto unlocated.

{3} Pits and ditches observed, together with pottery dating to the C12th to C14th.
