Full Description
{1} A brick-lined well, 1.1m wide at the top and 4.9m deep. It was constructed of alternate unbonded courses of headers and stretchers which bowed out towards the base forming a bottle shape. The remaining iron pipework both on top and inside, now removed, suggests there was a possibility of a hand pump/stand pipe in operation in the late 19th to early 20th century. The well was probably associated with the current house when first built.
