Full Description

{3} The excavation identified a total of 155 features of which only 36 produced pottery. This paucity of finds may suggest that the area is peripheral to both the Saxon and medieval settlement. A series of deep postholes in a rectangular arrangement and containing medieval pottery could represent the remains of a small structure.
