Full Description

{1} SP932650. Observation, fieldwalking and metal detecting during various stages of ploughing and amongst stubble revealed a surface scatter of flint cores. Waste flakes, blade flakes, retouched flakes, various scraper types, of mostly Neolithic but some of early Bronze Age Date. Other finds included one leaf arrowhead, one large microlith, three flint knives, one laurel leaf-point arrowhead and one reworked fragment of a Langdale polished stone axe.

SP931649. Lithic scatter observed during ploughing between August 1992 and January 1993. Cores and waste flakes, with a few scrapers, mostly of Neolithic date.
