This is a small two-storey workshop which was probably used for out-working in the shoe industry. It dates from the mid to late 19th century. The house nearby is of 20th-century date. It is probably of brick construction, rendered externally.

Full Description
{1} A small two-storey workshop, probably of brick construction, rendered externally, with a 20th century roof of corrugated asbestos. It is shown on the 1st edition 1884 OS map (1:2500 XLVI.15). In the north gable there is an entrance beneath a first floor window, and there is a brick stack on the south gable.
