Large site with Iron Age and Roman sherds

Full Description

{1} Iron Age "C" sherds and glacial stones; two rim sherds of hand made vessels in soapy dark grey ware compare with the pottery from the Hunsbury Hillfort in Northampton , which is dated to the late Iron Age and is to be seen in Northampton Museum.

{2} Large site with Iron Age and Roman sherds (and possibly a few of Belgic date). Probably 1st century AD hand made sherds. Nearby charcoal and burnt pebble patches nearby. NGR OK?? Date OK?

{3} The area surrounding the shrines has revealed traces of widespread occupation from the late Iron Age until the end of the fourth century AD. Sites A to F represent the main concentrations of occupation.
