Full Description

{1} Identified by South Northamptonshire Council as being a building of historic and/or architectural significance.

{2} School (Village Hall). 1874 by E Swinfen Harris. Rough stone with red brick dressings. Front gable with three lancets and a porch with bellcote above. Extensions of 1891.

{3} National (mixed), erected in 1874, for 125 children; average attendance, 109; & supported in part by the endowment mentioned above [Slapton Charity of 1719]: there is a house for the master; John Philip, master.
