Summary

A late 19th-century two-storey former stable-range with hayloft of stone with blue brick detailing on the front elevation and red brick to the rear with a Welsh slate roof.

Full Description

{1} Identified by South Northamptonshire Council as being a building of historic and/or architectural significance.

{2} Heritage asset survey carried out in 2016 as part of proposals for conversion. Former stable-range with tack room and office on the ground floor and hayloft above. The Mill Road frontage is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with window- and door-jamb- dressings and quoins in hard blue engineering brick. The rear elevation onto the farmyard is of red brick with simpler blue brick dressings. On the front elevation is a loft door sheltered by a small gabled roof. Adjacent is a chimney stack which served two fireplaces; photos, plans and elevations;
