{1} Features were found in the field to the east of The Rectory.

{2} At some time before 1901 objects described as 'Roman bricks' and 'a path paved with cobble stones' were found at the east end of Maidwell at SP750770.
[SMR Note 24/02/2010: RCHME equate these finds with the Iron Age and Romano-British settlement at SP747772, ie Mon 4331.]
