Monument record 3134/0/12 - Possible prehistoric enclosures and trackway

Cropmarks show an enclosure and a ditched trackway possibly representing a Prehistoric or Roman settlement.

{1} Air photos show parts of a large rectangular enclosure with an inner enclosure in its north west corner and a further enclosure to the north. Part of the interior of the main enclosure and the land to the south has been quarried away for ironstone. Vertical air photos also show what appears to be a length of ditched trackway to the south.
