Monument record 1165/0/4 - Possible Medieval/Post Medieval Ditches & Banks, Wicken Park Wood

Woodland survey was undertaken in 2000. There is a boundary bank on the west, but the road has damaged most of the north. The eastern boundary is fragmentary on the east. No banks exist on the south which is not an ancient boundary. No archaeological features were observed within the wood because of dense vegetation.

{1} The existing woodlands are all surrounded by large banks, some of which possibly relate to the boundaries of the medieval deer park, particularly Park Copse.
