Description from record 3484/0/3:
{1} Enclosure 3 is located throughout the area of the survey. It is a large earthwork enclosure incorporating both Enclosures 1 and 2 and sharing a common western boundary. It measures less than 750m east to west and up to 440m north to south. The ditch is 2.4m wide x 0.4m deep and the internal bank 6m wide x 0.2m high. These are separated by a berm of 1.3m. The unsurveyed part of the eastern boundary is likely to be within the Lawn. Along the nothern boundary a path is on top of the line of the bank indicating probable re-use of landmarks. A funnel cut through the western boundary may have been the original entranceway.
