Full Description
{3} A continuous length of ditch defines boundaries across three woodlands. Although the woodlands have a medieval origin, this boundary is modern. The edges of Lilford Wood are now marked by modern ditches. Wadenhoe Great Wood: The NW and SE boundaries are brooks and the north is defined by a modern ditch. Wadenhoe Little Wood: The N and SE boundaries are slades and modern ditches lie on the other two sides with a few oaks on the NW boundary.
