Low earthworks of ridge and furrow

Map

Type and Period (1)

Full Description

{1} There are particularly strong cultivation effects in Field 11, and these remain visible until Field 18. The orientation of these markings does not generally align with existing field boundaries, and so it is likely that they represent ridge and furrow rather than modern ploughing.
Widespread linear markings probably representing traces of ridge and furrow.

{2} Low earthworks visible.
