1612 Reference to Over Myll Meadow and Nether Myll Meadow
1777 Militia list gives Esau Loweth, miller, at Deene
Documentary sources: Shown, un-named on Eyre's 1779 map; on 1821 survey plan for OS; on Bryant's 1827 map; and on 1878-9 1 inch OS map.
Two channels of flowing water possibly indicate the wheel race and bypass channel at the mill site.
