Full Description

{1} There was a concentration of post medieval and 18th/19th century pottery in fields 10 and 11. The majority of the pottery was 18th-19th century utilitarian wares. The late 19th century OS maps show no occupation of the site at this time, so it is possible that the concentration represents rubbish tipping along the Old Towcester Road.
