Full Description

{1} These houses and workshops were thought to have been built by a local co-operative society. Nos. 55-61 were the first to be built, perhaps circa 1880. They comprise two mirror-pairs of plain two-storeyed houses with single fronted south elevations and tunnel backs. Probably shortly after 1884 a further terrace of five houses was constructed to the east. Nos. 45-53 are slightly deeper on plan and have canted bay windows to the forecourted front.

{2} Two photos of shoemaker's workshops dated 20.06.1994;
