Full Description

{1} These two cottages originally formed a two unit through passage house of one and one half storeys dating from the 17th century. Both the hall and kitchen of the original building retain their inglenook fireplaces and only the hall fireplace has seat recesses. An interesting survivial is two iron staples on the rear door frame. Originally a timber bar was rested on these staples to stop the rear door from being opened inwards.
