Full Description
{1} A broadly linear ditch with a slight curve running NW-SE. It may have been contemporary with the pit alignment. It was 43m long, with a 6.8m gap, before it continued on the same alignment for a further 30m where it turned more sharply to the north west.
A linear gully 4m long and 0.31-0.46m wide, and 0.03-0.12m deep, was located around 0.5m north of the ditch. It contained Iron Age pottery with notable concentrations at the gully termini. The gully could be evidence for a beam-slot, perhaps related to the entrance between the larger ditches, perhaps forming part of a livestock control system?
